PostSubject: Marshal/Support Crews 2011 and other assistance matters   Mon Sep 27, 2010 9:12 pm

We are very close to announcing details of the full Marshal/Support crews for 2011. This follows a meeting we held at Abingdon 4x4 Festival yesterday.

Last year we ran 2 Organisers vehicles (crew 2 each) and 2 Support vehicles (crew 2 each)

For 2011 we have increased our numbers to;

2 Organisers vehicles (provided by LR UK)

1 Support/Medic vehicle (provided by Marshall Land Rover Military Sales) This vehicle crewed by serving military personnel inc Medic

1 Support vehicle - (vehicle provision under negotiation). This vehicle crewed by serving militarty

1 Support vehicle - (vehicle provision under negotiation). Thus vehicle crewed by civilians

In addition to the above, 2 AA crews will also take part in the event and provide roadside assistance, if needed.

AA European Cover will be offered at a discounted rate - details nearer the event.

Ha - Simon; How can you not have made an impression?

The biggest advertising decal ever seen was a start; coupled with B'ambi going places (with ease) where no humans had ever ventured before and the ace attitude of the two of you of simply 'getting the job done' (with a smile). Classic. sunny

It's good to see B'Ambi will take part in the Olympics! clown
